I had the great honour of riding with cyclists from across NZ as part of the southern tour - Stewart Island to Balclutha prior to this years fete. The photo with the elderly chap is Mr George Crack of Ashburton. He rode from Cape Reinga to Stewart Island in 1971. He is now 82 and going strong.
